Basic Channel, 1993.

A personal favorite. One of the punchier, "floor-focused" releases, but not aggressive.

Maurizio — Ploy sleeve
MaurizioPloy
Their first release. More "proto" dub techno. Also includes an Underground Resistance remix, a Detroit Techno classic.
Maurizio — Domina sleeve
MaurizioDomina
Both sides are all-time classics. Maurizio Mix is dubbier, Carl Craig Remix is very Detroit.

MaurizioM-Series (M-4, M-4.5, M-5, M-6, M-7).
the later Maurizio releases. Sparse and spacier stuff that hadthe blueprints for both the hazier, contemplative vibe that the genre is typically associated with and the "minimal" stuff of the late 90s/00s. The "M-Series" compilation is a collection of edits of the original releases.

MonolakeHongkong
Robert Henke is another master/hugely influential artist. An engineer at Dubplates & Mastering who went on to be one of the co-founders of Ableton. Worth exploring his catalog (later releases are more IDM/experimental/whatever stuff). "Occam" is such a good groove.
Vladislav Delay — Multila sleeve
Vladislav DelayMultila

●Conforce — Machine Conspiracy sleeve
ConforceMachine Conspiracy
Probably the most well-known release on the label Meanwhile, which was a good dub techno label of the late 2000s - early 2010s. On the whole, I'd call Conforce's stuff Detroit-style techno, but this is his most dub-focused (and best imo)
Luke Hess — EP01 sleeve

Yagya goes closer to ambient, chill-out vibes - albums are treated more as continuous mixes than individual tracks. This is my favorite album of his, a little more house-focused.

Vladislav DelayRecovery IDea (The Mike Huckaby S Y N T H Remix)
Semantica Records, 2009

Mike Huckaby was a master, one of the later-generation Detroit artists. Probably the most outright dubby of the Detroit artists, but passed away a few years ago. He's held in high esteem by this crowd: Steven Hitchell of Echospace put out a commemorative release, "cv313 plays Mike Huckaby - Our Life with the Wave", with Federsen recently.
